I stayed at Andrew Pinckney in July for one night. I found this Inn on line and was not disappointed when I arrived. I loved the history about the Inn and the location was perfect. They had a great breakfast on the 4th floor outside terrace. Very clean and the staff was great. They have on site parking for a fee which is very helpful as off site parking is very expensive.

The location was excellent as it was located within a block from the Market area. You can walk to everything within minutes. The restaurants are great and viewing the beautiful homes and gardens is well worth it if you don't want to drive anywhere. We never used our car the whole stay.
The biscuits and gravy did not seem to go over very well, especially if you are from the north! I'm from the south and I did not want them for breakfast either. However, the view from the breakfast area is awesome! There are still bagels, muffins, boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt to enjoy and one one day they had french toast. Wine and cheese would be good in the afternoon as some other inns have in the area.

The room he had was supposed to be non-smoking. There was however a strong smoking odor in the room that permeated everything and made it difficult to sleep. My wife complained of throat irritation. Upon our return home, all our clothes retained the smoke odor.
